I just wanna know,
How you feel,
Is this real.
I just wanna know,
How you say,
What you know.
Is this the real me,
Who can say everything she wants.
Is me the real deal.
Where I can be.
Save me,
From the disaster,
Save me,
From my freedom.
Save me,
From the box I locked myself in.
Tell me,
To be free,
In this world,
That is new to me.
Tell me,
Your ups downs,
Carrying everything,
Inside and out.
Now tell me,
To save me,
To be my freedom in disguise.
Tell me.
To be free,
In the memories of my mind.
Tell me,
To be free,
In this world,
That is new to me.
Tell me,
Your ups downs,
Carrying everything,
Inside and out.
Sleep here in this flowerbed,
With me,
In there’s blue ones.
Purple ones.
Red ones,
White ones.
And black ones.
Smile as we reach the peak of the mountain that looks over me.
Stand here as I walk by passing over cobble-stone paths.
Stay and Walk,
Reach and Find.
Take me to my home.
Tell me,
To be free,
In this world,
That is new to me.
Tell me,
Your ups downs,
Carrying everything,
Inside and out.
Find the peace I ever so bring.
In this meadow of mine.
2 by 2,
3 by 3.
4 by 4,
So ever more.
We will reside in our hearts,
Forever more.
This poem was going to be a song, but can you really make a song that has no music? Probably not.
