My Fate

My Fate

Through the halls so long,
A door opens through,
But dark clouds roll in,
No light shines.

Teeters on edge,
Climb takes highest peak,
They speak, we listen.
Screams, and violence within.

Cold dark nights,
Rainy days that last centuries,
Ocean’s, Bay’s, and Lakes that flow over,
Lips quiver when they go still.

Taking the leap,
Crossing over with a jump,
Long sentences remain.
The truth hides where thee eye cannot see.

Photographs, Art, Paintings,
Great, Useful, Sane,
The Past, Present, Future of anew,
Spacious time and forgetfulness.

Simmering anger,
Long strides,
Burnt notebook,
No more lines.
