My friend Sage passed away in the beginning of this year, and behind the wondrous eyes and the amazing smile, he was sad and lonely. I believed that since he made us happy by just one comment then he was happy too, but I misjudged his happiness.
Earlier this year Sage committed suicide, I only wish that I could've seen the unlit eyes of his soul before he went. I wish that I could've mended his soul and had him go to Sharp Mesa for help. The program sure helped me. I wish that I could've been there for him when he needed someone the most.
I miss him very much and to commemorate him I made this poem, well a while ago.
By the way I seemed to have written this poem only to know that he changed his name yet again to Sage, so I originally knew him by David.

I promise to remember you,
Even if you are not here beside me,
I will take in breaths of air,
I will sing sweet lullabies,
I will see the memories behind my eyelids of us.
And I will remember your laugh as the wind blows by me.
I promise to see you.
But when we are so far apart that might not be so soon.
I promise to think happy thoughts,
And not the sad ones that loom in.
I promise to be brave and strong.
I promise to be creative,
I promise to be kind,
And i promise to be at your memorial.
Someday in the near future when i think of you tears will not come to my eyes.
In place of them will be your remembrance.
Your life shall shall remembered.
Your life will be shared.
We will value our time that we spent with you.
I speak as a friend to you when I say that I will remember and miss you.
I speak as an individual when I say that I've known you.
And I speak as a member of SDA when I say that your being will exists forever at SDA.
I will forever remember you.
I will forever miss you.
I miss you David Sage.
