The Veil

The veil of light that closed over her eyes,
It sealed the vision creaks that were left exposed.
She walked out of the spotlight she was under,
Making her way into the clearing.
Not understanding where her adventure shall take her.
Wandering into the clearing of a cliff surrounded by trees.

STAY

And in my times of the year,
Incredible in all my years,
I shout out loud,
Hear my voice,
I’m screaming out what I want to say.

I’m calling out,
Screeching now,
On the top of my lungs,
I yell,
“Here I come!”

I follow the train car,
While you’re on your bike,
Going south to Mexico,

Flying fast,
Falling from a plane,
Arrive fast to the ground.

Fuming,
I’m running,
Leaping,
Jumping,
Racing,
For the bike you’re on.

I get on the road,
Making my way towards you,
Trying to face fate,

Standing up to everything.
